Ragini, the actress of 'Siddhartha', has been wished by no less a star than Mohanlal. "All the best Ragini for your new Telugu movie Siddhartha", he has said on Twitter. Ragini, who debuts in Telugu with this movie, has earlier acted in Malayalam and Tamil in the movies of the likes of Mohanlal and Vijay. She is a big fan of Mahesh Babu.

'Siddhartha', starring Sagar of the famous TV serial 'Mogali Rekulu' fame, is an actioner which sees him in an intense role. Also starring Ragini and Sakshi Chowdary, it has music by Mani Sharma. Directed by KV Dayanand Reddy, the movie is produced by Dasari Kiran Kumar.

The movie is set for a Sept 16 release. Cinematography is by S Gopal Reddy and editing is by Prawin Pudi. Also featuring Subbaraju, Ajay, Randhir Gatla, Nagineedu, Satyam Rajesh, Thagubothu Ramesh, and Sana in different roles, its screenplay intersperses factional rivalry and romance.

The movie will clash with 'Nirmala Convent' and Rashmi-starrer 'Charusheela', among others.
