Any new update on Mohanlal's most awaited upcoming movie 'The Mahabharata' is bound to excite fans. Much to the delight of the Mohanlal fans, the makers of the movie have revealed the first shooting location of India's most expensive movie. Business tycoon B R Shetty, the producer of Mahabharatha have recently revealed that Abu Dhabi will be the first location of the movie, as the city has been so much dear to him.
Directed by ad filmmaker VA Shrikumar Menon, The Mahabharatha is based on MT Vasudevan Nair's epic novel Randamoozham. Mohanlal will play the role of Bheema in the upcoming magnum opus which will engage both Indian and international artistes, including Academy winners.
The project will be shot in English, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu and dubbed in major Indian and foreign languages. The casting process is being managed by an international company and is moving on at a brisk pace. To be released in two parts, the shoot will begin in September 2018 and the film is expected to release in early 2020. The second part of the movie would be released within 90 days of the first part.
