Mohanlal unveils Mollywoods controversial movies first look poster!

Amidst much controversy, Mollywood superstar Mohanlal unveiled the first look poster of actor Shane Nigam's 'Ullasam' helmed by debutant Jeevan Jojo. The colorful poster is full of happiness featuring the lead actor Shane and newcomer Pavithra Lekshmi in dancing mood. The poster has already won the heart of the audiences. Joe Kaithamattom and Christi Kaithamattom have bankrolled the project, in which Shane Nigam will be appearing in different avatars as he will be portraying characters from different age groups.

'Ullasam' has been in the headlines after Shane Nigam didn't co-operate with the team for the dubbing and asked the makers to settle his additional payments from the total of Rs 45 lakhs. On the other side, the Producers’ Association claimed that the allegations made by the actor were false and as per the agreement Shane had signed, his remuneration for ‘Ullasam’ was Rs 25 lakhs. However, upon the intervention of AMMA, the actor completed the dubbing of the movie and is prepping up to hit the screens soon.

Shane stirred up a controversy last year following the actor posted a Facebook video, alleging that he was facing death threats from 'Veyil' producer Joby George. Followed by this, Joby held a press meet and accused the actor of breaching the movie agreement by changing his appearance for another movie 'Qurbani' while in the middle of shooting 'Veyil'.
The issue was resolved after the intervention of AMMA and the movie's shoot resumed.

Later, the actor accused the 'Veyil' team of giving him emotional stress and delaying the shoot. As a sign of protest against the producer, the actor shaved off his hair. All his upcoming 3 films - Veyil, Qurbani, and Ullasam - were scrapped due to this, and the producers joined hands against him and demanded to pay off their loss. The issue is still ongoing and is yet to be resolved!
