Kollywood diva Trisha recently joined the shoot of director Jeethu Joseph’s directorial 'Ram', which has Mohanlal in the lead. The shoot is currently progressing at a brisk pace in Kerala.

The latest news is that the makers of the film are eyeing for an October release for Pooja holidays. Initially, it was reported that the movie will be an Onam release this year. Well, an official confirmation regarding the release date is still awaited though.

Directed by Jeethu Joseph, Mohanlal plays the titular role of 'Ram' which marks his second collaboration with the director after the superhit 'Drishyam'. Trisha plays the female lead. The gorgeous actress plays the role of a doctor named Vineetha. It is to be noted that, 'Ram' is her second Malayalam movie after 'Hey Jude' (2019), directed by Shyama Prasad. 'Ram' also features Indrajith, Durga Krishna, Leona Lishoy and Adil Hussain in important roles.

Satheesh Kurup is the DOP and debutant Vishnu Shyam will be handling the music department. VS Vinayak is the editor. Touted to be a thriller, the movie is made of a whopping budget and will be shot in various countries including Egypt, London and Istanbul apart from Kerala.
