Veteran director Vinayan recently took to his social media page to share a stunning sketch of actor Mohanlal as Ravana. He captioned it, "Mythical character for the night ..Sri. Mohan Lal..In the imagination of painter."

Ever since the picture surfaced on social media, it's was rumoured that the director is likely to team up with Mohanlal in the next.

Clarifying the same to a popular news daily, the veteran director said that he would be doing a movie based on the demon King, Ravana. The script for the project has been finalised and the director will be approaching Mohanlal for the project soon after his return from America. If the project materialises, Vinayan will be announcing the big-budget epic tale soon.

Meanwhile, Vinayan is currently working on 'Aakashaganga 2', a sequel to his superhit horror thriller Aakashaganga (1999). And, Mohanlal is currently basking in the success of his latest release 'Lucifer', that is ruling box-office in Kerala and abroad.
