Mohanlal to transform into various animals? Peter Hein reveals about Odiyan

Odiyan' is expected to be one of the costliest projects ever made in the history of Malayalam cinema. Directed by VA Shrikumar Menon, Odiyan is currently in its pre-production stage. As the movie is gearing up to start rolling next month, the technical team is all busy prepping up.
Talking in a recent interview, Peter Hein, the stunt choreographer of the movie revealed that Odiyan is a challenging project and it would be unlike Pulimurugan's man vs wild concept. Peter Hein had previously worked with Mohanlal in Pulimurugan, for which he won the National award for best stunt choreographer.
The National award winning stunt choreographer said, " Pulimurugan was a man vs wild subject where Mohanlal sir played a hunter who used to hunt down tigers. But Odiyan is different. Here, he has to transform into various animals and that is quite a challenging task.”
In the movie, Mohanlal will be seen in the role of Manikyan, a man who is mastered in Odividya and will be featured in the age of 30 to 65 in multiple looks. As the character demands tremendous flexibility and agility, Mohanlal will be shedding close to 15 kilos, to attain the movie's first look avatar.
'Odiyan' will have Manju Warrier in the female lead along with Prakash Raj and Sathyaraj in important roles. With the lyrics penned by Rafeeq Ahamed and Lakshmi Sreekumar, the project's music department is handled by M Jayachandran.Sabu Cyril is in charge of Odiyan`s production design. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor, 'Odiyan' will be shot at the various locations of Palakkad, Pollachi, Udumalpet, Banaras, and Hyderabad.
