Mohanlal to play a blind man in Priyadarshan's 'Oppam'

Mohanlal will play a blind man in Priyadarshan's upcoming movie. The movie has been titled 'Oppam'. Kollywood actor Samuthirakani will play a very prominent role in the movie. The movie will go on floors by the beginning of the next year. Initially another movie titled 'Ammu to Ammu' with the actor was planned for these dates. However, with pre-production work pending the movie has been postponed.

Mohanlal is one actor who can excel in such roles which offers immense scope to emote. This blind man role is expected to be one such. His paraplegic role, the Alzheimer ridden role et al were exceptional to say the least. This Priyadarshan movie could very well be another feather in his already crowded crown.
