Mohanlal talks about 'Drishyam 2'

Director Jeethu Joseph made a surprise announcement that 'Drishyam' team is back for a sequel. On the occasion of Mohanlal's birthday, the team had even unveiled a title teaser of the sequel.
Speaking about the project in a recent interview to a news channel, Mohanlal said that the sequel will be answering many questions the audience had after the first film. The movie will emphasize on what happened after the climax of the prequel. He further revealed that the sequel will be an "interesting movie" with a gripping screenplay.
'Drishyam', the 2013 blockbuster hit, directed by Jeethu Joseph traced the struggle of Georgekutty and his family who were suspected to be responsible when an Inspector's son went missing. The sequel will be a continuation of thrilling events that happened after Mohanlal tried to cover up the murder.
Meanwhile, Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph had been filming 'Ram', while the lockdown announced. The movie has Trisha in the female lead and Bollywood actor Adil Hussain in a pivotal role. The team has left some crucial scenes to be shot abroad. The filming will resume soon after the coronavirus pandemic comes under control in the foreign countries. Due to this, director Jeethu has started working on 'Drishyam 2'.
As soon as the lockdown is lifted in Kerala, 'Drishyam 2' will go on floors. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvad Cinemas, the movie's shoot will be carried in a controlled environment following the guidelines of the government.
