Mohanlal steps back for Mammootty

Mohanlal and Mammootty, the two great actors of Mollywood sre known for their off screen camarederie as well. Both of them have a lot many stellar movies to their credit. They have also shared screen for a few films. A movie wriiten by P Sreekumar, which tells the tale of Mahabharatham's Karnan was first planned with Mohanlal in the lead.

However, when it came to be known to the actor that Mammootty was also interested to do the role, he stepped back and let Mammootty do the movie. Sreekumar had been planning the movie for the past 18 years and it is now that things are falling in place.
