According to the latest reports, the Telugu remake rights of actor Prithviraj's latest directorial 'Bro Daddy' has been purchased by Venkatesh’s home production ‘Suresh Productions’. It is speculated that the Telugu remake will feature Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati playing the roles of Mohanlal and Prithviraj from the Original film. Well, an official announcement is awaited!
Starring Mohanlal, Meena, Prithviraj and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead roles, Bro Daddy premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on January 26. The comedy entertainer revolves around the lives of two generations of two Christian families. The bromance between Mohanlal and Prithviraj has been well appreciated by the Kerala audience. The film produced by Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvad Cinemas also features Lalu Alex, Unni Mukundan, Soubin Shahir, Kaniha and Jagadeesh in important roles.
Meanwhile, it may be remembered that Prithviraj’s previous directorial Lucifer (2019) was also remade in Telugu titled ‘Bheemla Nayak’ and featured Chiranjeevi in the lead role.
