The legendary actor Mohanlal was last seen in the thriller flick Odiyan and Nivin Pauly starrer Kayamkulam Kochunni, and now he is awaiting the release of his next biggie Lucifer which recently wrapped shooting and is being promoted extensively on various platforms.

Lucifer marks the directorial debut of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, and the movie also stars top actors like Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran and Vivek Oberoi and is touted to be a political thriller with elements of revenge, betrayal and mass commercial elements as well.

Now it has been announced that Lucifer will release worldwide on March 28 not just in Malayalam, but also in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Considering the fact that Lalettan is well known among Tamil audience with impressive acts in Iruvar and Jilla, Prithviraj being popular in Tamil with movies like Mozhi, Tovino with Maari 2, Vivek Oberoi with Vivegam, Indrajith with Sarvam, and Manju Warrier debuting in Asuran starring Dhanush, Lucifer is expected to have a good opening in Tamil as well.
