The shooting of Mohanlal-Lal Jose movie 'Velipadinte Pusthakam' commenced recently in Trivandrum. Mohanlal who has joined the set today shared his new look for the movie. We can see him sporting rimless spectacles and a slightly long hair and thick beard in the picture.

The movie which would focus on today's education system features Mohanlal in the role of a newly appointed college vice principal named Mathew Idicula. Touted to be a comedy entertainer, the movie has Angamaly Diaries fame Reshma Rajan in the female lead along with Anoop Menon, Arun Kurian of Anandam fame, Salim Kumar, Shajon and many others in pivotal roles.

The first schedule of Velipadinte Pusthakam is expected to wrap by the end of May. The second schedule shooting is likely to begin in August after Mohanlal completes the shoot for 'Villain'. Scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam, 'Velipadinte Pusthakam' marks the first time collaboration of Mohanlal and Lal Jose. 'Velipadinte Pusthakam' is expected to release this Onam.
