The shoot of Mohanlal-Meena starrer much-awaited sequel 'Drishyam 2' has wrapped up. The news was announced by the movie's director Jeethu Joseph on his social media handle, sharing alongside a few pics from the set. The director also revealed that the team completed the shoot within 46 days, much before the scheduled days. He also credited the movie's producer Antony Perumbavoor for the same.
"The shoot of Drishyam 2 has officially ended today. The film, which was scheduled for 56 days, has been completed in 46 days. It was only with the sincere cooperation of producer Antony Perumbavoor and the entire Drishyam team that we were able to complete this shoot without any problems in this Covid crisis. My sincere thanks to them and each and every one of you who prayed for the success of this humble endeavor of ours", wrote the director in his post.
'Drishyam 2' is the sequel of the crime thriller ‘Drishyam’ helmed by Jeethu Joseph. While Mohanlal will be reprising his character as Georgekutty, actress Meena will be reprising Rani in the movie. Hansiba, Esther, Siddique, Asha Sharath and Kalabhavan Shajon are also returning in the sequel.
Produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, the movie also has a few new additions to the cast such as Murali Gopy, Ganesh Kumar, Anjali Nair and Sai Kumar.
