The shooting of Mohanlal's new movie directed by Lal Jose began yesterday in a very special way. Being a college based entertainer, the movie's shoot kickstarted in the campus of the St Xavier's College, Thumba, Trivandrum. The team planted trees in the college campus and started off the shoot with a simple pooja ceremony.

Talking in an interview, Lal Jose said that the movie would focus on today's education system. Scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam, the movie will mark the first time collaboration of Mohanlal and Lal Jose.

The team is yet to finalise the name of the movie, which will feature Mohanlal in the role of a newly appointed vice principal of a college. Touted to be a comedy entertainer, the movie features Reshma Rajan in the female lead along with Anoop Menon, Arun Kurian of Anandam fame, Salim Kumar, Shajon and many others in pivotal roles.
