Mohanlal-Trisha's upcoming movie 'Ram' is one of the most awaited upcoming films of Mollywood. As reported earlier, the filming of the movie is currently on hold due to the lockdown. However, in recent times, there were reports making rounds that Jeethu Joseph is planning to drop 'Ram' and start a new project with a different cast.
Clarifying rumours, Jeethu Joseph took to his Facebook handle to reveal that the movie's shoot will resume once after the Coronavirus threat in the UK and Uzbekistan, where a few crucial scenes of the film are to be shot.
"In the last two three days I have been getting calls and messages asking whether I have shelved my Mohanlal movie 'RAM' and planning another project. We had to stop the work of 'RAM' due to the spread of Covid Virus, but it will resume shoot once the virus threat is down in UK and Uzbekistan. Since kerala is one of the few places in the world where Corona has been controlled effectively, its likely to start the shoot early here. Considering this possibility, in the meantime I am thinking of a film which has its shoot entirely in kerala but this doesn't mean in any way that I have abandoned the project 'RAM'. It's just being delayed due to the circumstances," wrote Jeethu Joseph.
Recently, the team had unveiled a new location still featuring the complete actor along with director Jeethu Joseph discussing a scene. Donning a white kurta, Mohanlal looks stylish in the new still.
Director Jeethu Joseph is known for directing Malayalam hits like 'Drishyam', 'My Boss', 'Aadhi', 'Memories' etc and Tamil movies like Kamal Haasan starrer 'Papanasam' and the recently released Karthi - Jyothika starrer 'Thambi'.
