There are reports doing the rounds that Mohanlal-Jackie Chan's movie 'Nair San' will go on floors soon. Clarifying the reports, the movie's director Alberrt Antoni has said that the news trending on social media is baseless.
Though Nair San was first announced in 2008, discussions about the film are still active in the media. Over the years, there has been a lot of speculation about the cast and crew, but there's little official news on this until now. It is said that Mohanlal will be sharing the screen with the action king Jackie Chan. And naturally, the audiences are eagerly waiting for a confirmation on the project since 2008.
Set in the pre-independence period, the movie is based on the life of a freedom fighter named Ayyappan Pillai Madhavan Nair. Reportedly, Mohanlal is playing the role of Ayyappan Pillai. His character is living in Japan and is fondly called as 'Nair San'.
The movie will be helmed by Alberrt Antoni, who made his debut in Mollywood with 'Kanne Madanguka' starring Navya Nair. The movie won three Kerala State awards and many other accolades. Reportedly, the big-budget project is under planning. However, the filmmakers have not made any official announcement regarding the movie.
