Ever since the teaser of Prithviraj's Ezra came out, there have be speculations doing the round that superstar Mohanlal plays the secret character of Abraham Ezra in it. The rumours broke out after the video gave a glimpse of a man (the silhouette resembling Mohanlal), holding a paper that reads "The spirit of Abraham Ezra dislocated from his body 1941 AD."

Now, putting an end to rumours, Ezra director Jay K has clarified that Mohanlal is not a part of the horror thriller. He also claimed that the person, alleged to be the superstar in the video, is Prithviraj itself.

Set in the backdrop of Jewish storyline, Ezra revolves around the unexpected events that happens in the life of Prithviraj's character Ranjan Mathew, a chief executive officer of a shipping company who arrives in Kochi from Mumbai along with his family. Apart from Prithviraj, the movie also has Priya Anand, Tovino Thomas, Pratap Pothan and Suddev Nair in main roles. Ezra will hit the bigscreens on February 10th.
