It has been a while we are listening about the news about Mohanlal and Gautham Menon's movie. Each time the news turned out fake. But recently Ashvin Mathew, a stand-up comedian and actor shared a photo with Gautham through his social media and wrote "Gautam Vasudev Menon directing a film with Mohanlal?? All will be revealed soon!"

That's really a surprise for all of us. If reports are true both join hands together for the first time for a bilingual project soon. Ashvin will be penned for this new venture and agreed that the movie will be in Tamil and Malayalam and discussions are in the final stages.

Earlier, reports had it that Mohanlal will star as Suriya's father in the blockbuster Gautham movie "Vaaranam Aayiram", but it did not materialise due to unknown reasons.

Hopefully, 2016 would be a great year for Mohanlal. We all are awaiting for his latest releases. From Tollywood, two back-to- back multilingual movies Manamantha and Janatha Garage. In Malayalam the most anticipated Pulimurugan and the suspense thriller Oppam.

Fingers are now crossed to hear latest updates about Gautham Menon's movie.
