It was on the 60th birthday of actor Mohanlal, the sequel of the actor-Jeethu Joseph's superhit thriller film ‘Drishyam', was announced. Ever since the movie was announced, the audience has been eagerly waiting for more updates on the project.

Now, the latest update is that the shoot of the movie might start by the mid of the month August this year. However, the makers are yet to make any official announcements confirming the same.

'Drishyam', the 2013 blockbuster hit, directed by Jeethu Joseph traced the struggle of Georgekutty and his family who were suspected to be responsible when an Inspector's son went missing. The sequel will be a continuation of thrilling events that happened after Mohanlal tried to cover up the murder.
