As we all know actor Udhayanidhi Stalin is acting in the lead role in the Tamil remake of critically acclaimed Malayalam blockbuster 'Maheshinte Prathikaram'. The remake is being directed by Priyadarshan while Samuthirkani will be penning the dialogues apart from acting in an important role in the film. 

The shooting of the remake begun a few months ago and now the title has been finalized. The Tamil version of 'Maheshinte Prathikaram' has been titled as 'Nimir'. The title was unveiled by none other than Mollywood superstar and Priyadarshan's close friend Mohanlal. 

'Nimir' has a stellar star cast that includes director Mahendran, M.S.Basker, Namitha Pramod and Parvathi Nair among others. Darbuka Siva is taking care of music score while Ekambaram is the cinematographer of this film.
