Mohanlal creates another history

The news is all about Mohanlal as he completes a double hatrick of super hits. The last of his releases Mahasamudram even though a mediocre film, has gripped the masses like any thing. But this story is all about another history in the making in filmdom.

Mohanlal is now being paired with Saranya, daughter of Poornima Bhagyaraj, for his next film Photographer. The interesting thing to watch here is that Mohanlal and Poornima had made their screen debut with Fazil's Manjil Virinja Pookal in which they played the lead in the early eighties.

Later they went on to be the popular romantic pair in many films of the time. It is supposed to be the first time in world cinema that a hero had the chance to act opposite mother about 26 years back and now with her daughter both in the main lead characters.

Saranya has made it big with her debut in the recent super hit Parijatham in which Prithviraj has been the hero.
