M.T.'s Randamoozam will soon be a reality- announces Mohanlal

Mohanlal confirms in an interview conducted by a Malayalam daily that much awaited project Randamoozham` will soon materialize.

This project was announced much earlier and is heard for a long time. It was being delayed because the script was yet to be completed and of budget hurdles. Randamoozham` was earlier announced as a film directed by Hariharan and there were also news Megastar Mammootty will do the role of Karnan. The film is based on the novel written by M.T. Vasudevan Nair based on the mythological character Bhima from Mahabharata.

In the interview telecasted yesterday, Mohanlal announced that M.T. has completed the script and he has received a copy of it in his hand. He said that it is a colossal project and the budget will come around 600 crores.

The film will be made in two parts. International technicians and cast will be part of the project. Latest technology and graphics is required and talks are on to rope in some of the internationally renowned technicians and actors for it. The subject is rife with chariot races and war scenes with artillery and infantry and for that internationally famed technicians are required. The initial works of the film has started and it will happen in 2017. The right of the script is acquired by Sreekumar.

It is great news for Mohanlal fans and all film buffs as we can soon see how Mohanlal transforms to Bhima through his special magical touch that everyone speaks of.
