With the shooting of Ranjith's 'Loham' wrapped up, actor Mohanlal has been running a few errands and fulfilling his non-cinema duties. He had been to Kashmir to meet his new superior and also was at Sabarimala on a holy sojourn.

The actor is now at Japan. It is reported that he is there for his Spondilytis treatment which has been bothering him for quite a while now. Also, the actor is taking a much needed break, after shooting back to back for months on end. He will join Padmakumar's 'Kanal' upon his return.
