Actor Mohanlal is currently shooting for 'Drishyam 2' in Thodupuzha. Even before he has completed the shoot of the ongoing project, the actor has signed yet another project. The actor is collaborating with director B Unnikrishnan and Pulimurugan script writer Udaykrishna for an entertainer.

Touted to be a rural based movie, Mohanlal will be essaying a village character after a long time. Actors Saikumar and Siddique will aso be part of the project.

According to latest reports, Mohanlal will join the shoot of the movie on November 15 in Palakkad soon after he completes Drishyam 2. Currently, the team is finalizing the script of the movie which will be a big scale mass entertainer aimed at a theatrical release.

Mohanlal and B Unnikrishnan had worked together for several hits such as Madambi, Grandmaster, Mr. Fraud, Villain, etc. Likewise, the superstar has collaborated with Udhayakrishna multiple times in the past. The last time the two worked together was for the mega blockbuster ‘Pulimurugan’. Expectations are already skyhigh on the project.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal also has ‘Empuraan’ and his ambitious directorial debut ‘Barroz’ in the pipeline.
