Mohanlal will play the lead in "The Last Painting"- a Malayalam feature film to be made by Artistic Revelations. Portraying Mohanlal as a billionaire-art collector, the film is a whacky comedy with a bunch of art lovers in Bombay setting out to find the last painting of Raja Ravi Verma.

The events that follow the finding of the painting form the crux of the story.

Artistic Revelations comprises of Manu Warrier, Vinayak Warrier and Prasad Ruparel. The film will be jointly directed by Manu and Vinayak.

The screenplay has been written by Manu, while Vinayak and Prasad have composed the background score and the songs in it.

The film, which follows a unique pattern of storytelling, is targeted at Kerala and the international market. The team is currently in talks with producers.
