Followed by this, rumours broke out that Mohanlal would be teaming up with SS Rajamouli for a big budget project. Later, the complete actor himself clarified that those were just rumours.

Now, the latest buzz is that Mohanlal and Sridevi will be playing the lead role in SS Rajamouli's next, which is set in the present time period. Unlike his last release, Baahubali, it is going to be a contemporary film this time, closer to reality and about struggles of life. It is heard that Rajamouli is planning to rope a Telugu hero as well as a Bollywood actor for his venture. However, there is no confirmation from the director's side. Let's wait and watch!
