As the teaser of Mohanlal`s upcoming film, 1971 Beyond Borders continues to trend top in the chart, the complete actor himself has announced the release date of the movie. Mohanlal in a recent live video interaction with his fans announced that the upcoming war-drama will hit the big screens on April 7 as a Vishu release. The movie is expected to lock horns with Nivin Pauly`s Sakhavu and Dulquer Salmaan`s CIA that are also expected to hit screens during the Vishu holidays.

Directed by Major Ravi, 1971 Beyond Borders is the fourth installment in the Major Mahadevan series. Asha Sarath plays the female lead in the film, along with Allu Sirish, Srushti Dange and Bollywood actor Arunoday Singh playing important roles. Produced by Haneef Mohammed for Red Rose Creations, the movie is expected to have a grand release! As audiences are going gaga over the movie, expectations are sky high!.
