Actor Jayam Ravi is currently busy shooting for 'Bogan' directed by Lakshmanan. This happens to be the tall and handsome actor's 24th film.

Last year's critically acclaimed mega hit 'Thani Oruvan' is a crucial film in Ravi's career that has completed more than a decade. The film was directed by his elder brother Mohan Raja. Ever since the film's release expectations about a sequel has been doing rounds. Ravi also stated that he is ready to act in the sequel whenever his brother calls him.

Recently Raja also confirmed that 'Thani Oruvan 2' is on the cards. When asked when it will happen, Raja said he hopes it will be his brother's 25th film. This means Ravi will take up 'Thani Oruvan 2' after 'Bogan'.

Raja has to complete the Sivakarthikeyan-Nayanthara-Fahad Faasil starter, which will go on floors once Sivakarthikeyan completes 'Remo'.

We can expect an official announcement on the commencement of 'Thani Oruvan 2', once the Jayam brothers are free from their current commitments.

Meanwhile 'Thani Oruvan' is currently being remade in Telugu with Ram Charan Teja in the lead role.
