After delivering the unanimously acclaimed blockbuster 'Thani Oruvan' in 2015, director Mohan Raja is currently busy shooting for his next yet to be titled flick with the hot young star Siva Karthikeyan and Nayanthara in lead roles.

Malayalam cinema's leading young generation star Fahad Faasil makes his Tamil debut playing the antagonist in this film produced by RD Raja under his 24AM Studios banner.

For the first time director Raja has opened up about his new film in a recent interview. Here are some important revelations made by Raja about the film which will carry a message about what individuals can contribute to correct the ills of the society.

While 'Thani Oruvan' had a self-sufficient person as the protagonist (he is an IPS Officer), this film's lead character is a person whose livelihood will be at stake if he thinks anything other than his work.

The director reveals how such a common man who is not self sufficient can contribute to change the society.

This comes close to earlier reports that the film is set in a slum and deals with food mall nutrition.

The director said that he felt Sivakarthikeyan will be the apt choice for the lead role and the latter also was eager to do a film with him. Fahad Faasil plays the antagonist but it is a character with multiple shades and not a typical baddie.

We will have to wait till August 25, 2017 to enjoy what the team has in store for us.
