Mohan Babu has requested his fans to not to come to Tirupati on 19th March to celebrate his birthday.

He said, " It is known that my father has passed away recently. So I decided not to celebrate my birthday on 19th March. I will spend at my institution 'Sri Vidyaniketan', but I request my fans to don't come to Tirupathi on that day. You can wish me through phone from your area".

" My father, who has worked as a very good elementary school teacher, has spent his whole life teaching to the students in Sri Vidyaniketan. He used to participate in my birthday celebrations and the anniversary of Sri Vidyaniketan. But it is very sad that he is not with us now. So we will be away form birthday celebrations on 19th March, but the anniversary celebrations will be done on 20th and 21st of this month. Over 30,000 students, their parents and some well wishers have been participating in this event every year".

He also said that he is going to present the 'best teacher' award every year, for the one who have contributed well as a Elementary school teacher, in the name of his father.
