Nandamuri Balakrishna has interviewed Mohan Babu in the first episode of 'Unstoppable With NBK', the talk show currently streaming on Aha. Mohan Babu opened up on some of the most

"Success is a public affair, failure is a personal funeral. I used to suffer within myself when I was broke financially. Nobody helped me out. When you fail, everyone says that you didn't listen to their advice. With the failure of the films that I headlined, I never shied away from playing negative roles. I didn't want to be jobless. I used to lose money because of the flops," Mohan Babu said.

The senior actor said that he produced 'Alludu Garu' by selling off his plot in Mahabalipuram. The film became a hit, then followed by 'Assembly Rowdy', 'Brahma', 'Rowdy Gari Pellam', 'Adavilo Anna', 'Peda Rayudu', among others. "It's because of these films that I thrived again," Mohan Babu added.

When Balayya asked him about leaving NT Rama Rao's camp and joining hands with Chandrababu Naidu's camp in the 1990s, Mohan Babu answered, "No matter how careful you are, you make mistakes at times. I listened to Chandrababu Naidu and did what I did. At that time, I remember (actor) Rajinikanth warning me against it. Annayya (NTR) was disappointed with my decision. I and Rajinikanth met him personally before I joined hands with Chandrababu, who later did some mistakes. Past is past. I don't want to talk ill of Chandrababu. I want him to be happy and healthy. Chandrababu kicked me out of the party saying that I am not disciplined."

Balayya faced a question from Mohan Babu. Asked about why he didn't succeed his father as the chief of TDP, the 'Akhanda' star answered, "I felt that it's not proper to perpetuate dynasty politics when TDP was going against Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi for dynastic politics."

About Chiranjeevi, Mohan Babu said that he is a good dancer and actor. "He married Surekha, who is like my sister," the 'Son Of India' star said.
