Mohan Babu and his daughter Lakshmi Manchu today announced ‘Agni Nakshathram’, a film they are going to produce. Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures and Manchu Entertainment are proud to have collaborated for the project.

The father-daughter duo will be sharing screen space.

Lakshmi today said that she is way too excited about the project. It is beyond a dream come true for her. "I just can’t wait for all of you to see the magic we’ve created," the actress added.

Dr. Mohan Babu suggested that he has already shot for a few scenes with his daughter. He only saw her as a character and not a family member on set.

This is not their first film together. Lakshmi played a child artist role in one of Mohan Babu's movies in the 1980s. "We never appeared in a film together after she became a professional actor. This is my first and it is most special," Mohan Babu said.

"I am also most excited about the opportunity of bringing together the dynamic father and daughter duo for the first time ever," said director Prateek Prajosh. With music composed by Lijo K Jose and cinematography done by Gokul Bharathi, the film is edited by Madhu Reddi. Production design has been done by Deep Bhimajiyani. Dragon Prakash and Manchu Manoj are choreographing stunts.

With the screenplay and dialogues penned by Satya, the film has Naresh Tula providing additional screenplay. Diamond Ratnababu has penned the story.
