Mohan Babu has been elected as the Daivasannidhanam Chairman of the Film Nagar Temple. Earlier on Monday, the veteran actor took the oath as Chairman. 'Kalabandhu' T Subbarami Reddy, his friend and well-wisher of the film industry, attended the ceremony.
MAA President Shivaji Raja, treasurer Paruchuri Venkateshwara Rao and others felicitated the Collection King on the elevation.
Later, Murali Mohan informed that donations to the tune of Rs. 3.70 Cr have been received by the Temple. It was Mohan Babu's wish to serve as the Chairman, he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohan Babu said that he and Megastar Chiranjeevi quarrel like 'Chilaka' and 'Gorinka'. "I will invite Chief Minister KCR garu to the Temple very soon," he said.
