Mohan Babu caricatures Major Devaraju in 'Mestri'

‘Mestri’ is being directed by Suresh Krishna, featuring Dasari Narayana Rao in the lead role. Dasari Padma is presenting this movie which is being produced by K. Ramakrishna Prasad on Soubhagya Films Pvt. Ltd banner.

Srihari is enacting an important role in this movie which apes the contemporary government and politicians in a satirical style.

News has been out that Major Devaraju, who received the prestigious Shourya Chakra from the President of India, is the first Telugu person from a backward community to receive the honor. This real life character in the movie will be played by Mohan Babu. The sequences which will cast him will start filming from today at Ramoji Film City.

We can easily perceive that Dasari is prepared to respond strongly on these issues through this film. We have to wait and watch to see the ripples that might be created in the political field once the movie hits the screen.
