The wife of one of the most popular Team India cricketers was arrested at midnight causing a great sensation in Amroha. Indian pacer Mohammed Shami and his wife Hasin Jahan have been estranged for the past several months after the latter accused her husband of physically abusing her and having extramarital affairs. She even went to the extent of claiming that Shami had affair with a Pakistani spy.

Late Sunday night Hasin Jahan had taken her daughter Bebo and forcefully entered Mohammed Shami's house in Amroha and was involved in a fight with his parents who called the police. The cops then arrested Jahan under section 151 which allows them to hold a person without a warrant for 24 hours. The troubled lady has told newsmen that her in laws used money and influence to get her arrested falsely.

Mohammed Shami who performed exceptionally well with the ball in India's recent tours of Australia and New Zealand has been selected for the World Cup 2019 and he is currently one of the leading wicket-takers for King XII Punjab in the IPL 2019 as well.
