Mogudu's posters play to the gallery

  • IndiaGlitz, [Friday,October 07 2011]

Krishna Vamsi is known to titillate the audience a bit. Though the overall message of his movies are worthy of celebration, he, like all mass directors, plays to the gallery. His heroines indulge in sensuous show more explicitly than the heroines of other A-class directors.

In this context, some of the posters and stills of Mogudu are a bit off-the-mark as they resemble a semi-porn film. One such poster pictures a bare-chested Gopichand and a sexily translucent saree-clad heroine posing suggestively.

That said, Mogodu could be a family entertainer with a useful message. Krishna Vamsi, as said earlier, has a knack for mixing masala elements with decent stuff.

Let's hope Mogudu will live up to the purity of its title.
