While the lead cast Anil Kapoor and Sridevi will reprise and take their original roles in the new version, the films popular baddie Mogambo (played by Amirsh Puri) will naturally be replaced as he dies in the original and they will introduce a new one, Kapoor revealed.
So there goes the dream of seeing the dabangg super star Salman Khan as Mogambo... For, speculations were rife earlier that the macho star will be reprising the bald baddie in the new version of Mr. India.
"If I had my way, I would plan every film with Salman Khan. But this is not in my hands, it will be according to the script," remarked the filmmaker.
As of now, Kapoor said to be busy with the making of No Entry Mein Entry (the sequel of No Entry) and only after which he will move on to work on the sequel of Mr.India.
