Ajith Kumar's fans had to wait more than 900 days for Valimai and they asked for updates on the film everywhere. When the England cricket team toured India last year, the fans asked England and CSK player Moeen Ali for a 'Valimai' update during a match in Chennai's Chepauk stadium.

In the video released online, we can see that Ajith Kumar fans asked for a Valimai update from Moeen Ali. The 34-year-old cricketer, who didn't have any clue about Valimai, laughed and went back into the game.

Now, Moeen Ali has talked about Valimai to the fans as the movie was released in theatres yesterday. Chennai Super Kings' official Twitter handle has posted a video in which Ali Bhai talks about Ajith Kumar's Valimai. In the video, the all-rounder says, "Valimai means power. I know this actor is like a big actor or something. So, when I was asked this question about 'Valimai' update I honestly didn't have clue what this is. All I knew was update. Never heard of Valimai or anything like that. And I was all over social media and I am not on social media."

"So, I didn't see everything. I asked DK. Dinesh Karthik, I think, it was. And then he kind of said, 'it's a movie coming out'. So, I actually did a little bit of research. I learned it was a movie that was I think supposed to be coming out for a long time. And you know, there was no sort of a sign. I think recently, I saw like a massive poster saying update and when it's going to be released, and all this kind of stuff. And then people were sending me, like links and trailer where I've been tagged. That looks a very high-end movie, But you know, it better be good. (sic)," continued Moeen Ali.
