Modi's sensational comments against Jagan

Election heat is increasing across the country and the two Telugu states AP and Telangana are witnessing a high octane battles among various regional parties. Even the BJP has put its radar on these two Telugu states and its top national leaders are campaigning in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh ahead of the polling on 13 May 2024.
PM Modi went on a whirlwind tour in AP and Telangana and blasted the ruling YSRCP and Congress in the states. He did not even leave the BRS in Telangana. During an interview, PM Modi was asked about the situation in AP. He was asked though his party BJP is in alliance with Chandra Babu's TDP and Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena, how his party is maintaining close relationship with the ruling YSRCP and CM Jagan.
He was pointed to the fact that BJP took the support of Jagan and YSRCP on various occasions and passed important bills at the Centre. Responding to it, Modi said ' This time he is confident that the current dispensation in AP will not come to power in the upcoming elections. He said the financial situation in AP is pathetic and its effect is felt across all stratas. He added that Jagan was never BJP's political ally and in Parliament, his party gave only issue based support which is quite common.
Modi added that even earlier, BJP fought against Jagan and YSRCP and they never allied together. He said just like he is the PM, Jagan is CM and their relationship is only to that of PM and CM, head of the country and the state and he cannot stop meeting CMs just because they are from opposition parties.
He added that as the PM, he will support all the states and it is up to the ruling party and the CM to develop the state. He added that coming to elections, Jagan is his opponent and BJP was in alliance with TDP last time and this time, Jana Sena also joined. He said seeing the response of the people, he is confident that the alliance will big in assembly elections and also in the Parliamentary elections.
