Modi picks up litter at beach to inspire Indians

With the aim of promoting the cause of Clean India, Narendra Modi today did plogging at the famous Mamallapuram beach near Chennai, in Tamil Nadu. The Prime Minister picked up litter and put plastic cups, etc in a bag. As per him, he did it for 30 minutes.

Nirwa Mehta, an author, urged Modi to wear shoes from next time at beaches. Broken glass, discarded syringes, god knows what you find on beaches. Especially near garbage, she said.
Many are lauding Modi for being committed to Swacch Bharat.
