Prime Minister Narendra Modi and actor-politician Pawan Kalyan have expressed condolences over the demise of Jayaprakash Reddy, the talented actor-comedian who breathed his last at his Guntur residence earlier on Tuesday.
Taking to Twitter, Modi wrote a Telugu message and said, "With his unique acting style, Jayaprakash Reddy garu impressed everyone. In his long and illustrious cine career, he played a number of memorable roles. His death is an irreparable loss to the world of cinema. I convey my profound condolences to his family members and fans. Om Shanti."
Pawan Kalyan recalled his association with Jayaprakash in connection with films like 'Gabbar Singh'. "No matter what kind of role it was, he would emote with ease. His Rayalaseema accent was authentic. He was accomplished as a comedian, villain as well as in playing character roles. Despite getting busy with films, he never left the theatre. My sincere condolences to his bereaved family," the Jana Sena chief said.
