At Saturday's United India Rally organized by Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress in Kolkata, opposition leaders lashed out at the Narendra Modi government.  Their charade ranged from calling the EVMs chor machine (former JK CM Farooq Abdullah) to saying that NDA has been a disaster for every section of the population.  DMK Chief MK Stalin, Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge, BSP leader Satish Mishra and SP chief and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav were conspicuous by their presence.

Speaking on the occasion, DMK Chief MK Stalin hit out at Modi.  Wherever PM Modi is going, he is fiercely attacking the Opposition. Modi is fearful of the Opposition and that is why he is also cursing us, he is afraid of our unity, we must come together to safeguard India.

BSP leader SC Mishra said, Factories have closed down, farmers are in distress, minorities are the worst affected under this govt, such a government needs to be uprooted. If we want to save the constitution, we need to get rid of the BJP government.

Hardik Patel, who led the Patidar quota agitation in Gujarat a few years ago, said, Subhash Chandra Bose fought Britishers, we have to fight thieves.
