Modi is breaking India into pieces: Sonia, Rahul at Bharat Bachao rally

The Congress party has today held a Bharat Bachao rally in Delhi to protest the alleged atrocities being committed by the Modi government. Interim Congress President Sonia Gandhi, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi, General Secretary Priyanka Vadra and others have participated in the rally at Ramlila Maidan.

Addressing a large gathering, Sonia Gandhi said that the Narendra Modi-Amit Shah duo is not bothered at all that the Citizenship Amendment Act "will shred the soul of India, just like it is happening in Assam and other states of the northeast."

Rahul Gandhi thundered that India knows the situation. "They work to create divides - between religions - in Jammu & Kashmir, in the Northeast. Go to Assam, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh. Go and see what Narendra Modi did there. He has set ablaze those regions," Rahul said. He added, "The GDP growth is at 4%, that too even after the BJP changed the way to measure growth. If GDP is measured following the previous method, it will be just 2.5%."

Priyanka Gandhi said that she would like to tell every citizen of India to raise your voice. "You love this country, become its voice. If we don't raise our voice, stay back in the darkness of fear and lies even in these circumstances, and stay quiet then our Constitution will be destroyed," she added.
