Narendra Modi has addressed the nation for the first time since the bifurcation of Jammu & Kashmir. The Prime Minister's entire address was dedicated to pitching for J&K's and Ladakh's development.
"Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh have the potential to be the biggest tourist hub in the world. There was a time when Kashmir was the favorite destination of Bollywood filmmakers, I am confident that in future even international films will be shot there," Modi said.
In doing so, he specially invoked two regional film industries: Telugu and Tamil. "I urge the Telugu and Tamil film industries to invest in there," the PM said.
While the intentions are welcome, it's also true that Tollywood will any day prefer to invest in Andhra Pradesh than in Kashmir or Ladakh.
