"Let the judicial process be over. After the judicial process is over, whatever will be our responsibility as the government, we are ready to make all efforts," are the words of Narendra Modi on the Ram Mandir issue. Speaking to a news agency on Tuesday, the PM has made these remarks when asked if there will be an Ordinance in favour of Ram Mandir.
If there can be an Ordinance on Triple Talaq, why not an Ordinance on Ram Mandir? "The Ordinance on triple talaq was brought after SC verdict, in the light of SC verdict. We have said in our BJP manifesto that a solution would be found to this (Ayodhya) issue under the Constitution," Modi said.
What about Modi calling loan waivers by Congress state governments lollipop? "To say a lie and mislead, that is what I called lollipop. Like saying 'we have waived all farm loans'. The truth is that nothing like that has happened. Please see their own circulars, they should not mislead," the PM replied.
Speaking on the country's middle class, Modi commented, "We will have to change our thinking for them. Middle class never lives on someone’s mercy. They live with dignity and make immense contribution towards running the country."
