On the eve of Teachers' Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently interacted with those top-quality teachers who have been conferred a National Award for bringing a positive change in the society through their educational efforts. A teacher from Rajahmundry is one of the achievers recognized by the Centre.

Tweeting about Meka Susatya Rekha, Modi said, "Rekha, a teacher of Mathematics and Science in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, has successfully ensured that students find classroom interactions absorbing. She has worked on the creation and dissemination of e-content. I wish her well in all her future endeavours."

A number of teachers from across the country were conferred the award on the occasion. This is a truly inspiring initiative.
