Model arrested for hurting sentiments of Ayyappa devotees

Model Rehana Fathima has been arrested by the Pathanamthitta police today for her alleged post on Facebook that hurt the sentiments of the Ayappa devotees. Earlier she created a sensation by trying to enter the Sabarimala temple dressed in black and police had escorted her to the shrine amidst huge protests.
The police have arrested Rehana and have taken her for questioning following the complaint lodged by Sabarimala Samrakshana Samithi.
She has been booked under section 295A that protects against malicious and deliberate attempts intended to hurt the sentiments of any class, religion or religious beliefs.
