‘In the difficult times no one came to my help except Sa Ra Govindu, Jack Manjunath, Anjaniputhra film team’ – A producer, exhibitor and distributor MN Kumar who has helped for nearly 20 producers and locked Rs.30 crores in his business was expecting a phone call to pacify my difficulty. I have understood in the case of ‘Anjaniputhra’ difficult time of mine that I should change in life. The Kannada films in the past I have supported in the midnight giving backup for release in so many cases MN Kumar lamented. The Ugadi festival in my life has come quite early – Bevu and Bella (neem and Jaggery) is given to me by destiny well in advance.

I have certainly lost Rs.1.5 crore in business with this case on ‘Anjaniputhra’ as six shows in nearly 300 theatres were stalled. Like how power star Puneeth Rajakumar said ‘Agodella Olledakke’ – everything happens for good, I am expecting a high jump in the box office collection.

It is an investment of nearly 20 crores of rupees on this ‘Anjaniputhra’. For such a huge investment such a blockade obviously perturb the producer. I do not say the demand of the lawyer’s fraternity is wrong, their approach was wrong. They should have discussed with producer first instead of going to court and bring stay order says MN Kumar.

For most of the theatres not removing the film ‘Anjaniputhra’ with disturbance to screening, they have not taken out the film. They have cooperated and pacified the crowd coming to theatres. MN Kumar thanks exhibitor fraternity.

The question of how he would get back Rs.30 crores which he paid for others at crucial time, he says those who have cheated me do not prosper in life. In case they prosper in life I would bow before such persons. MN Kumar believes in the philosophy of ‘Karma’. I have not kept any balance to anyone in film career.

With no backing I came up in life. For my good time my parents blessings is responsible and for my children in the family I should do well so that they are not disturbed in their life.
