Meeku Meere Maaku Meeme, starring Tarun Shetty and Avantika Mishra in lead roles, is directed by Hussain Sha Kiran. Hussain is better known as the one who triggered off the idea of Nannaku Prematho in Sukumar.

The reason why the director chose the title is because the story of this film is inspired by a particular scene from 'Missamma'. 'Meeku meere..' is a song from 'Missamma'.

Produced by Nakama Planet Green Studios, which produced offbeat films like Shadow and Onti Ganta, the film was shot in Hyderabad and is currently in post-production stage.

Kireeti Damaraju, Jenny and Bharan are seen in other important roles. The film is currently in post-production stage. It will hit the screens sometime in Feb.
