The Pre-Release event of 'MLA' was held in Hyderabad on Tuesday night.  D Suresh Babu, Kona Venkat, Allari Naresh, Vamsi Paidipally, Sreenu Vaitla, Gemini Kiran, N Shankar, ML Kumar Chowdhary, Bheemineni Srinivas Rao, VN Aditya, and others graced the event as guests.

Sreenu Vaitla said, "I don't know how hard it's for someone with no background to become an MLA, but I know how hard it's for someone with no background to become a director.  Upendra has worked really hard on this movie.  He has been sharing his experiences with me.  I must thank Kalyan Ram for giving Upendra the opportunity to turn a director."

Posani Krishna Murali said, "When he wanted to become an actor, I happened to see Kalyan Ram's pics.  He had been in the US.  I found him quite chubby.  NTR garu and ANR garu were like the industry's eyes.  When Kalyan Ram wanted to become an actor, he left his business and job.  He is as warm-natured as his father Hari Krishna garu.  I will be happy if he becomes an MLA in real-life.  Such good people have to be in politics."

Bheemineni said, "Kalyan Ram garu is an Ajatha Shatruvu.  He is very disciplined.  He has a great future ahead."

VN Aditya wished the producers Kiran Reddy, Bharath Chowdhary and Vishwa Prasad all the best.

Ravi Kishan, the film's villain, said, "I have done more than 500 movies in my career. With that experience, I can tell you that this film is going to be a big hit."

Brahmanandam said, "Upendra is a very demanding director.  I got down in weight by 2 kgs since I started doing this film.  He gets the best out of everyone.  As for Kalyan Ram, you will see him as a charming lover boy in 'Naa Nuvve'.  Kajal Aggarwal is looking so young.  She is the same even after all these years.  Ravi Kishan is a very talented actor. I am not qualified to speak about Mani Sharma."

D Suresh Babu said, "I wish the entire team all the best.  Mani Sharma's songs are so cool.  I am hopeful that the film will be a big hit."

Vamshi Paidipally said, "I have worked with Upendra in the past.  He has got a great timing.  It's not easy to form a good team.  In this regard, I congratulate the producers.  Kajal has completed 12 years of journey in films.  I wish her more success in the coming years.  Kalyan Ram is the best example of a person with good qualities.  He should do great films in future."

Allari Naresh said, "I have known the producers and 'babai' Kalyan Ram.  Kalyan will score a blockbuster with this movie.  Upendra is a nice person.  He should score a hit with this one."  

Director Upendra Madhav said, "I thank Kalyan Ram garu for this opportunity.  He toiled so hard for the movie.  Sometimes, he wouldn't even eat for 16 hours.  And he gave me complete freedom.  As soon as he listened to the story, he told me we are doing it.  I know the budget that we had planned and what happened by the time the film was over."

Kalyan Ram said, "Only a few producers believe in the story.  I like such producers and the producers of 'MLA' fall into that category.  I was as excited on listening to the story of this movie as I was when I listened to 'Pataas'.  It's the responsibility of a cinematographer to guide a debut director.  The two are like husband and wife.  Prasad Murella garu is the best cinematographer I have worked with.

Ravi Kishan garu is like my brother.  He is a superstar in Bhojpuri.  It's great that such a big name is doing villainous roles in Telugu.  He has done 500 films so far and yet, he continues to learn.  You will see a new Kalyan Ram in this film.  I have done 14 films so far.  Kajal has done 50.  It's because she is so dedicated.  This film will touch the audience."
